ARC Music Festival has unveiled its initial artist lineup for its 2023 edition. From September 1 to September 3 at Union Park in Chicago. After extending to three days for the first time in 2022, ARC’s third year sees it firmly establish itself as a favorite in the global festival circuit, bringing in renowned talent to the birthplace of house music.
In nearly three years, ARC has cemented its reputation as an event that unites scenes and connects communities worldwide in a unique way to Chicago’s creative history. By spotlighting the rich cultural heritage of Chicago house music and bridging the genre’s local and global pioneers with the next generation of world-class artists, ARC continues to expand its trajectory as a leading name in the global scene.
Headlining the 2023 ARC lineup are internationally acclaimed names in house and techno, including Eric Prydz with his iconic HOLO show, Adam Beyer, Tale Of Us, and John Summit. These titans of the genre fall in line alongside Chicago icons and house music architects such as Derrick Carter, Gene Farris, Collette, DJ Heather, and DJ Lady D, and techno stalwart Hiroko Yamamura and Detroit pioneers Carl Craig, Moodymann, and DJ Minx.
The lineup also features Grammy Award-winning South African artist Black Coffee, South Korea’s music-fashion globetrotter Peggy Gou, the energetic party leader FISHER, German FCKNG SERIOUS label head Boris Brejcha, and UK mainstage originator Fatboy Slim. Modern house favorites are in full force with Vintage Culture, Hot Since 82, Patrick Topping, Wade and Dennis Cruz, Loco Dice, Repopulate Mars owner Lee Foss, and Sam Divine.
ARC has also enlisted global techno heavy hitters including Nina Kraviz, Anfisa Letyago, Ilario Alicante, and Eli Brown. The lineup also includes rising stars like Mall Grab, KETTAMA, Themba, Tinlicker, and Fleur Shore.
Unique back-to-back sets will take place throughout the weekend, including Fisher b2b Loco Dice b2b Nic Fanciulli, Mall Grab b2b KETTAMA, Cristoph b2b Franky Wah, and Hiroko Yamamura b2b DJ Minx.
ARC promises an immersive journey for global house and techno fans, with curated production elements and art guiding them between each of the four immersive stage environments, including the Grid stage, the Expansions stage, and a new fourth stage spotlighting international and national acts alongside the Midwest’s top talent.
Spanish party outfit Elrow will make its return to ARC, announcing its presence as the only festival stage takeover in the USA this year. Known for its psychedelic production and outrageous surprises, Elrow’s signature stage design, performers, and hijinks have made it one of the most celebrated brands in the world.
Auris Presents team will lead the efforts, bringing decades of unique event experience and curation across their independent endeavors. ARC fans will also be treated to intimate afterparties across Auris and ARC partner venues RADIUS, Cermak Hall, PRYSM, Concord Music Hall, and more.
