For the 10th anniversary of THIS 916, the Sacramento-based event company takes its high-impact shows to great heights with top-tier talent and a new venue.
Top-Tier Talent
This 916 hosted their second Railyards event this year featuring headliners Walker & Royce along with Cloone on direct support. The crowd poured in early in the day to catch NorCal local artists, Foolie, G.A.M.M.A, Kittie Lyn, and Sam I Jam. All the artists filled every inch of the event grounds with that unique sound that every attendee loves.
A New Venue
The Railyards, though far from central Sacramento, allowed for THIS 916 to use high-tier production. The company came complete with LED walls, lasers, and a plethora of sounds to keep the people moving. Additionally, from the back of the stage to the end of the event grounds, you could see the performance and feel the music with little to no issue. The event stage was also positioned perfectly to catch the sunset. During Cloonee’s performance, he artfully played his track Sun Goes Down at the break of dawn. Safe to say, the vibes were well established for a great show.
All The Vibes
The attendees we’re primed to dance the night away with some great house. We saw everyone decked out in their best outfit. It was a colorful sea of people from end to end of the event space. Thankfully the weather wasn’t too hot, so all attendees we comfortable throughout the night in whatever they wore. Moreover, it was also impressive to see the number of water tents available to the crowd at nearly every corner to keep people hydrated.
Overall, the good folks over at THIS 916 brought vibrant life to the underused Railyards of Sacramento by providing youthful entertainment with a safe and inclusive environment for the city. We are very excited to see the next installment of their Railyard series. THIS will be featuring the very vibrant San Holo along with the LA-based event collective Brownies and Lemonade.
