Sacramento-based electric artist, Czechmate has been creating a name for herself as one of the rising names in house music. Over the past few years, we have seen her grow from a high-energy DJ to a producer that shows grow after each track. During the downtime from COVID-19, Czechmate has focused on building her sound and production up while also focusing heavily on her very own podcast, “Czechmate Radio”.
“Deadlines” feature a G-House bassline and a super catchy synth that is sure to get the dancefloor rocking. Czechmate took a different path for the inspiration of “Deadlines” and we were able to ask here how this track came to be:
“You know it’s funny because the only reason this song is titled Deadlines is because I was on a deadline to finish it in order to have an early release in January which then got pushed back multiple times so the title is quite irrelevant. Regardless, it’s the quickest track I’ve ever written, took me less than 10 hours to finish within a span of 4-5 days and it’s the most traction I got on a song as far as getting recognized by other music producers all over the globe. Makes me realize the quickest ideas are generally the best ones. Start it quick, finish it quick, and release a banger. Not too much overthinking served me well in this case scenario.”
